Research interests: focuses on exploring host responses to viral infections including JC virus and West Nile virus. We are currently studying the role of oxidative stress response in WNV pathogenesis. In addition, my research also involves identifying genes and molecular pathways that are characteristic signatures of acute stage of Kawasaki disease for clinical diagnosis.
