APITMID Research Core

Research interests: studies the molecular evolution and epidemiology of infectious diseases using a combination of empirical and bioinformatic approaches. Her work includes phylogenetic inference of natural selection, genetic drift, gene flow, and recombination in the evolution of viruses. She is particularly interested in the evolutionary ecology of zoonotic infectious diseases.
